Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: July 2026
Business Tips Plus is a small, independent site. Here's how we make money and how that affects what you read.
We use affiliate links
Some links on this site, mainly in tool and software comparison articles, are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up for or buy something, we may earn a commission. This costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the company.
This follows FTC guidelines on affiliate marketing disclosure (16 CFR Part 255).
How we choose what to recommend
We only link to tools we believe are genuinely useful for the small business types we cover. Affiliate relationships don't decide what we recommend. If a tool is worse than a competitor, we say so, even if the competitor doesn't have an affiliate program and the worse tool does.
Where a post is a paid partnership rather than a standard affiliate link, we'll say so explicitly in that post.
Where you'll see these links
Affiliate links mainly appear in:
- "Best [tool] for [business type]" comparison articles
- Software and service mentions inside "how to start a business" guides
Articles containing affiliate links carry a short disclosure note near the top.
A note on Craftan
Business Tips Plus is run by Asim, who also owns and operates Craftan, a handicrafts e-commerce store. Where Craftan is mentioned or linked as a case study or example, this is disclosed ownership, not a paid placement or affiliate arrangement. We call this out explicitly wherever it happens.
